This heart felt message goes out to all our Campers and Parents.
We have thought long and hard about this decision we are announcing. Covid-19 has impacted so many lives and businesses worldwide and we are also feeling the same affect on our Summer Holiday Programme too. It has now become a new normal to socially distance, and it is now part of our every day lives.
These past few months have been very unpredictable, and we have tried our very best for this not to affect what our Camp is about. Our number one priority at Active Summer Camps is the health and well-being of all our campers and staff, and this has been a big influential factor in making this decision.
There are still many questions surrounding Covid-19, and following our current guidelines, Camp just isn't going to be what it is supposed to be. Our programme would be impacted significantly, and our activities would be very hard to run with Social Distancing measures. On top of this we have also faced the challenge of finding a new home for the summer, which has unfortunately been unsuccessful.
This means that our Summer Camp for 2020 is cancelled.
This news is not easy for us to share, as we know that many parents and families are reliant on the programme that we offer. Trust me, we are just as devastated as you. Many local providers are mutually deciding to close their doors for the summer period too. We are crossing our fingers that we will be able to return in October and resume to some sort of normality.
We will miss all our Campers and their Families over the Summer Period, however, we would love to see what you all get up to over the holiday period. Feel free to tag us in any photos of your Summer Activities.
